Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a dealer license to buy through you?
No — that’s the whole point. Manheim is a dealer-only wholesale auction, closed to the public. We use our Oregon dealer license to access it and purchase on your behalf.
What’s the difference between Manheim and Copart/IAAI?
Manheim sells dealer trade-ins and lease returns — mostly clean-title, driveable vehicles. Copart and IAAI are insurance auctions with total-loss, salvage, and rebuilt-title cars. Manheim = better condition. Copart/IAAI = better price.
Can you ship the car to another state or country?
Yes. We coordinate with trusted transport companies. For international buyers, we can assist with export documentation and port delivery to Los Angeles, Seattle, or Tacoma.
How much does the sourcing service cost?
We charge a flat fee per vehicle — contact us for current rates. The auction hammer price and buyer’s fees are passed through to you at cost, no markup.
I’m in another country — can I still use this service?
Absolutely. We have experience working with international buyers. We’ll handle the inspection, bidding, and title work. You handle import in your country — we can help with export paperwork on the US side.
